New versions of the ISO 9001 and 14001 management system standards published

Following the publication of the new ISO 14001 in April 2026, the new ISO 9001 has now also been published in September. For both standards, relatively few changes have been made. The updates mainly involve clarifications of existing requirements.
It has been agreed at international level that all organisations that are already certified will be given three years to comply with the new standards. The transition to a new certificate can therefore be planned by each organisation at a time that suits them best.
