What is QA-CER Recycled Content?

Today, there is a clear demand from governments, producers, and consumers alike to reuse materials as part of the circular economy. After all, our planet has only a finite supply of raw materials.

Centexbel has incorporated the BQA QA-CER recycled content system into its product certification range. The Centexbel QA-CER recycled content system is based on the European standard EN 15343, which defines how the recycled content of a product is determined. The underlying chain-of-custody model is a controlled mixture model, as described in ISO 22095.

• Sorting and recycling companies of post-industrial and post-consumer waste from plastics, textiles or composites.
• Plastics processors, textile and composite producers who use post-industrial waste and post-consumer plastic waste.
• Assembly companies that make composite products with recyclate from plastic parts or textiles.
