Operation Clean Sweep and the prevention of plastic pellet spills.

What is Operation Clean Sweep?

OCS Europe is a voluntary scheme developed by Plastics Industry Association and European Plastics Converters whereby an independent audit agency (such as BQA) assesses procedures and practices of plastic processing industry partners for effectiveness in preventing pellet, flake or powder spills.

The certification scheme provides for an annual audit frequency and distinguishes between some basic requirements (management system, education and training, etc) and specific requirements for the value chain (plastics producers, compounders and converters).
